Our Beginning
Our story began not in a café, but at our kitchen table. Like many, the pandemic slowed the world down and gave us a chance to rediscover comfort in the simple things, especially a great cup of coffee. What started with a coffee pod, soon turned into a joyful exploration of brewing methods. Each cup taught us something new about the magic and ritual of coffee.
We explored what coffee lovers across California, the Pacific Northwest, the East Coast and beyond were sharing online. We learned that it was not only technique that mattered, but the way coffee brings people together and creates moments worth remembering.
a journey that shaped us
In late 2023, our family faced one of life’s toughest challenges when our mom was diagnosed with cancer. Through her treatment, she held on to one heartfelt wish to visit Greece. In the summer of 2025, once she felt strong enough, that wish came to life. It was one of the most moving and joyful experiences of our lives.
While in Santorini, we discovered a warm community called Kamari where the coffee was wonderful and every moment felt like a celebration of life. Surrounded by family, laughter and genuine connection, the name Kamari became more than a memory. It became the essence of what we wanted our brand to be a feeling of escape, comfort and connection.
